My Personal Bio:
Hello Everyone! My name is Jenni, and I am so glad that Beachbody is a part of my life! Before he became my coach, Jason Scheff was talking about how well P90X works for people who travel a lot. Since I travel with my job, I checked it out, expecting to find an average workout dvd. What I found instead was a fabulous workout, and a great organization with all of the tools, support, and community a person could need for complete fitness.
When P90X was delivered, I dove into the program. I admit, those first two weeks were a killer, but I loved it! That was almost 5 months ago. I’m in the middle of my second round of P90X and I’m still lovin’ it.
On a personal level, my husband Phillip and I have been together for 9 years. We enjoy traveling, and we’re into running and long distance cycling. In fact, we met on a cross state bike tour. Sweet, huh? We also do a lot of hiking and a little backpacking. We're currently on a mission to hike all 54 of the National Parks. 18 so far and we’re heading to the Pacific Northwest this fall to knock off a few more. We don’t have any children, but we do have a cat. He’s pretty worthless, but we love him anyway.

My Transformation Story:
My transformation story is very simple. When I was in my late twenties, I realized I was at an age where it would be very easy to add a couple of pounds a year without really realizing it. I’m in my late forties now, which means without this foresight, I would be 40-50 pounds overweight today! My weight has stayed within a 5 pound range for the past 20 years, and my level of fitness has always been “above average”. Okay, feel free to roll your eyes and say “Oh great, she’s one of THOSE”, but the truth is… after 5 months of P90X, I’m already in better shape than I’ve ever been before. What I’ve learned about nutrition has changed my eating habits for life. I always thought I knew a lot about nutrition, but what I see now is that I knew a lot about calories. I knew that low fat foods were better for me, but I really only saw them as a way to get more “bulk”, more “food” into my daily allowance. I managed my weight in a great balancing act of “calories in, calories out”. Since joining Beachbody, I’ve learned that eating the right foods in the proper proportions will bring desirable results long before a simple daily calorie count. As for my level of fitness… my cardio has always been pretty good, but I’ve seen fabulous gains with strength training. Between those two facets of wellness, I’ve lost inches, gained muscle, and gotten into the best shape of my life.
I’m such a believer in the products and support system that Beachbody has to offer, I’ve recently become a Beachbody coach. My role is simple. I’m here to answer questions and lend support. It would please me very much to help you reach your personal fitness goals. I understand that everyone has different goals and needs different types of support. Some people struggle with motivation, some struggle with nutrition, some have questions about the website, and some simply don’t know where to start. Well, that’s what I’m here for. I’ll help you identify your goals and reach them in any way I can!
