My Personal Bio:
My name is Janette, Married for almost 15 years to my high school sweetheart, we have two children, and are lucky to still be in love. I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. I "starved" myself during the last years of high school, and on into college. (Ya know, it is healthy to eat a salad and drink diet coke all day right??) Well, after learning nutrition, and the effects of Diet coke on your system, I have learned (the hard way) that food is our fuel, and our friend. Eat to live, not live to eat people. What an amazing journey. I have a wonderful partner, and he has loved me every step of the way. Like any man he just wants his wife happy. (Happy wife = Happy life) he says, and every day one work-out at a time, I am finding my happiness. It all begins inside you, and then it radiates outside of you. I love my Beach Body DVD's. I have the whole gammet, from P90 to Hip Hop Abs. Everyday pushing play to find the inner beauty. We are all beautiful, maybe not as beautiful as Tony, or Chalene, but we have our own beauty. You just got to find it. So keep pushing play, and work our way to P90X. Can't wait.
My Transformation Story:
Here we are at day one again. But this time it is P90X. I have done about 1 and 1/2 rounds of P90, a lot of Turbo Jam, a lot of Hip Hop Abs, and a lot of living. I am finally ready to finish X. First round is always a challenge, and now with my husband transfered on a new detail for the next 13 weeks, it is time for the X challenge. This journey I hope to acheive the level of fitness I am searching for, and to finally be proud of my numbers on the BMI, fat calc, and all the other fitness monitors. I will be doing the lean P90X program, and eating as close to the P90X nutrition guide that I can. I am ready. Lets Bring it.

So, here we are starting week 6 of P90 X. I cannot say how much I LOVE and HATE Tony Horton. He pushes me to press play, not only thru the video's but thru his Message boards, and don't you know I am joining him in the chat rooms too!! X is a wonderful journey, and even thou I am avoiding stepping on the scale, (for disappointment sake) I am continuing to take measurements, and will post new pic's soon. I was scared of X, while doing P 90 I always thought,.. those people are psyco! Who would do that? Well after one and a half rounds of P90, I am PSYCO!, I WILL DO THAT!! I am enjoying the ride, and am doing my best to involve as many people with this journey that I can, I know people, especially my family are so sick of me saying "Hey check out this, look at this muscle!! I have never seen that muscle on my body before!" After being the chubby girl in grade school, to starving myself in college, this is wonderful, I am able to eat more food, and have more results.
AT age 32 I had to have a hystorectomy, and after struggling with trying to do P90 six days a week, and not loosing one pound I went to a natural doctor, and had some hormone tests done. I was "Estrogen Dominant" meaning... my body thought I was pregnant! So it was storing the "cushion" around my mid section. Even today at age 36 I am still struggling with the "cushion" because my hormones are so resistant to weight loss. (That is the reason for the scale avoidance!) I have lost several inches, and only about eight pounds. But I still find the motivation to push play. Motivation, and I would totally go thru Tony Horton "DT'S" if I didn't get to see him every day.
