My Personal Bio:

HI! My name is Suzy and I am a mother of three kids. I share my before picture from when I was 24 and my after at age 44. Who says you can't get better with age. I owe this transformation to these amazing workouts!

As a young person I struggled with body image/eating disorder and I also suffered with post partum depression with all three of my children. My weight was 175 at the highest. After my third child was born I was ready to give up on myself. I was tired and overwhelmed. But, I looked to turn things around when I was at my lowest point. I started to try new activities and I went to the gym more often.
The gym never did give me new results and it was taking up a lot of time from other things I wanted to do in my life.

But, I found P90X and Team Beachbody! The workouts take less time and give better results! It has changed my health and fitness in ways I could have never expected. I now feel confident with my body and I can eat more from the muscle tone I got from these workouts. How great is that?! My body shape is dramatically different and I have a metabolism that works finally.

I enjoy fitness, traveling, having fun, listening to live music and more.! I am a producer and do freelance for TV and films which was a dream job. I also created BEYOND THE BUS STOP,--My mission is to MOTIVATE, SUPPORT and INSPIRE Mothers to rediscover who they are after having kids!

I am enjoying showing others now how they can get results too!

My Transformation Story:

I think the fitness program was the icing on the cake (no pun intended!) of my life long journey for fitness and good health. I am feeling my best and looking my best in my 40's! At times I wanted to give up on my health and wellness. It was a tough road to climb after having kids. Many days I felt stuck at home after giving up my career, my body, and my dreams.

I needed to dig down deep and find out how strong I was and what I can do to make a difference for others once we do that! I had no idea how strong I was inside and out until I got involved in this community in 2007.

I set out to see what I could push myself to do from what I call: Beyond the Bus Stop! My goals with P90X started out to just have more energy, be more fit and try to get the six-pack that I never had in my life. Like many people I was not sure if I could do it at my age. But, each day I had a choice. Here was a program that has transformed lives. Why would I not want to experience that in my life?
I was able to achieve my dream body and more with P90X in 90 days! Even after three babies and years trying to go to the gym!
I found a community here of like-minded people who set goals and worked hard to achieve them together! WOWY and the boards made a huge difference in my motivation.
It is the people and my coach that got me past my stopping points!
It is such a life lesson to be found here..... COURAGE to try, DETERMINATION to keep going, COMMITTMENT to get results, and then SUCCESS will follow!
